About Indigo VII
INDIGO VII is a Swan 62FD, Hull #5 out of a series of 7 yachts built by the well-known Nautor Shipyard from Finland. The Swan 62FD is designed by German Frers and is an upgraded version of the well proven Swan 60 with an extended stern with more storage and deck space aft, opening stern platform and an upgraded deck-layout with a guest center- cockpit and separate steering position aft.
INDIGO VII has a spacious interior layout with a full beam salon midships featuring a comfortable seating area and table to port side, a sofa and navigation area to starboard side and a fully equipped galley. She offers accommodation for 6 guests in 3 cabins + crew cabin for 2 persons/sail locker forward in the bow. She has a beautiful teak interior with satin finish, teak & holly floorboards, a lot of natural light is coming in through Gojot flush deck hatches with Oceanair blinds fitted on the inside.
INDIGO VII is built for blue water cruising with all necessary equipment and systems on board, the present owner, a very experienced Yachtsmen who had several Swan’s before, purchased the yacht in 2018 and has done a rigorous maintenance schedule and upgrades to the yacht to keep her in absolute mint condition. INDIGO VII has a sloop cutter rig with Offshore Spars aluminium mast and boom, furling headsail and a fully battened mainsail with a Harken Battcar system, lazy-jacks and Easystow bag to hoist and reef as easy as possible with the help of electric powered winches. There is a new MaxPower hydraulic bow thruster on order which will be installed by Nautor Swan Global Service so the yacht will be better to maneuver in small berth spaces.

Service history
Indigo VII has a rigorous annual program of preventive maintenance. Including, but not limited to annual haul outs, servicing of winches, thru-hull fittings, prop, anodes new antifouling. Main engine and generator serviced annually or when required, last serviced Winter 2024-2025. Water maker flushed with biocides before winter. All safety gear in date.

2018
- New Bruntons Varifold 4 blade propeller (improved speed and consumption and smoother/quieter). Prop shaft checked, new cutlass bearing.
- New Vitrifrigo ice maker fitted in galley.

- New AB aluminium 3.4m RIB + new Honda 20hp 4stroke outboard. New lifting strops and towing bridle.

- Modification to tender and deck chocks to improve on deck stowage. Hole through tender to allow baby stay to fit through tender deck. The tender now sits close up to mast for more secure passage making.
